Project Overview:
Tuna Street Home is a 4-bedroom residence in a new Halswell subdivision, one of three similarly designed homes. The project demonstrates how careful architectural planning can transform a small section into a private, functional home that maximises light, flow, and usability. The developer’s investment in design resulted in a quick sale and strong market return.
Design Approach:
Our design approach focused on optimising the compact site while ensuring privacy for all occupants. Efficient layouts, considered circulation, and multi-functional spaces create openness internally while shielding the home from neighboring properties. This project demonstrates how smart architectural design can enhance both livability and market value.
Light, Space & Connection:
Large windows and thoughtful orientation bring natural light into key living areas while maintaining privacy. Open-plan living areas feel spacious and connected internally, with seamless transitions between rooms and outdoor spaces that are protected from neighboring views.
Materials & Detailing:
Materials were selected for durability, aesthetic impact, and warmth. Timber accents, clean-lined finishes, and precise detailing create a contemporary yet inviting home that responds perfectly to the compact site.
The Result:
Tuna Street Home is a private, functional, and contemporary residence that feels spacious despite its small section. It exemplifies how considered design and attention to detail can deliver both market success and a highly liveable home.
