Project Overview:
This four-unit development in Fendalton represents our ongoing commitment to crafting well-designed, family-oriented homes within established Christchurch neighbourhoods. Each home is designed to deliver generous living, privacy, and long-term durability, wrapped in a warm yet sophisticated material palette of charred timber and copper. Positioned within a sought-after suburb, the project brings architectural quality to medium-density living.
Design Approach:
Our approach balances efficiency with comfort—designing homes that feel spacious, light-filled, and intuitive for everyday family life. Careful planning ensures each unit has its own sense of identity while maintaining overall cohesion across the development. Indoor–outdoor living, functional flow, and privacy between units sit at the heart of the design.
Light, Space & Connection:
Living spaces are oriented to capture natural light throughout the day while maintaining privacy from neighbouring properties. Open-plan layouts strengthen connection between kitchen, dining, and lounge areas, supporting family interaction and flexibility. Outdoor spaces are sheltered, usable, and tailored for everyday living.
Materials & Detailing:
Charred timber cladding anchors the homes with warmth and texture, complemented by copper elements that will gracefully weather over time. These materials not only define the architectural character but also reinforce sustainability, durability, and craftsmanship. Subtle detailing elevates each home, creating refined, timeless exteriors.
The Result:
Currently on the drawing board, this development promises a series of modern, resilient homes that respond to family living in a premium Christchurch location. The combination of strong materials, thoughtful planning, and architectural clarity ensures these homes will stand out for years to come.
