Situated on a prime site in Stoneridge Downs, Christchurch, the Tui Vale Home is designed to balance open, engaging living spaces with private, intimate outdoor areas. The home offers a contemporary environment tailored to the needs of a growing family, creating a strong connection with its natural surroundings.

Design Approach

The design focuses on maximising interaction between interior and exterior spaces. Expansive living areas open onto the landscape, bringing in light, views, and a sense of spaciousness. Enclosed courtyards provide privacy and intimate outdoor retreats, giving the home flexibility for both social gatherings and quiet family moments.

Light, Space & Connection

High ceilings and generous volumes in the living spaces create an airy, open feel that engages occupants with the outdoors. Carefully placed openings frame the landscape, while sheltered outdoor areas ensure the home works comfortably across seasons.

Materials & Detailing

Material choices emphasise warmth, durability, and harmony with the surrounding environment. Textured surfaces and natural finishes create visual interest and a sense of continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces.
