The design balances solidity and softness through material contrast and form. Concrete provides permanence and structure, while vertical timber weatherboards add warmth and texture. A carefully planned layout maximises natural light, privacy, and connection to the outdoors, ensuring every space captures its unique outlook.

Large openings and considered window placement frame views of Rangitoto and the harbour beyond, drawing the landscape into the interior.
